The Landhaus Römer is located on the outskirts of Serkenrode in the beautiful Sauerland with an idyllic and extensive garden. It is a feel-good holiday home that meets the highest standards and welcomes you with a warm atmosphere. Pets are welcome, but please consult with us beforehand.

Our passionately restored Landhaus (country house) offers space for 2 to 8 people and a toddler in its 170m² of living space. The high-quality equipment offers the perfect ambience for a carefree holiday in the beautiful Sauerland. The price includes WiFi, bedding, bath and hand towels, utilities costs, and final cleaning.

As soon as you enter the house, a light-flooded living and dining area with real wood parquet floors welcomes you. The open country kitchen connects harmoniously. It is equipped with high-quality electrical appliances such as a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and a large fridge & freezer. In the center of these three connected rooms is a large, round dining table with enough space for all guests.

The living area has a comfortable sofa set. A large Smart TV (SAT) and a modern radio (DAB, CD, AUX, Bluetooth) are available as digital media. Many board games, books, and magazines are provided for your entertainment. The atmospheric crackling fire in the stove, which also heats the romantic tiled stove in the living room, quickly turns bad weather into a minor matter. A door leads from the living area directly into the winter garden and onto a terrace.

In the winter garden, you will find an infrared heat cabin with enough space for up to three people. Pure relaxation awaits you here after a day of sport with a view of the garden and the wide open spaces. This holiday home has been designed for comfort no matter the weather.

The completely new bathroom with state-of-the-art equipment and stylish accents leaves nothing to be desired. Two free-standing washbasins on a solid wooden countertop with an associated shelf – both made of real Sauerland oak – are eye-catchers. Above is an illuminated wall and make-up mirror. A glass wall separates the extra-large, walk-in shower from the toilet. Two windows fill the room with light.

The first of the four bedrooms is on the ground floor. Here you will also find real wood parquet. A double box spring bed with oversize bed linen provides the ideal environment for a restful sleep. Furthermore, as in every bedroom, the bedding is hypoallergenic. A large window allows a view of the wonderful garden. This room is also equipped with a Smart TV, wardrobe, and chest of drawers as well as seating and storage space for clothes and other items.

A restored wooden staircase leads up from the hall. Upstairs, all bedrooms and the hallway have the original, refurbished wooden floorboards.

The second bedroom also has a double box spring bed with oversized bed linen. Two built-in cupboards offer enough storage space. A small seating area with cocktail armchairs also invites you to linger in the room. In the back of the room there is a small door that leads to the “play cave” (it can also be used as storage space). Lined with a cuddly carpet and plenty of toys in the built-in boxes, children’s hearts will beat faster!

The third bedroom has two single beds. It is comfortably furnished and allows a view of the garden. A wardrobe with enough storage space and a small armchair complete this room. It is suited as a children’s room and has a small children’s book collection for this purpose. However, the beds are also large enough for adults and can be pushed together if desired.

The fourth bedroom is very spacious. It consists of a separate entrance hall with restored fitted wardrobes, the actual bedroom, and an associated alcove. The room is furnished with a double bed in a country house style and a matching bench. With a nostalgic couch and armchair, you will also find a beautiful seating area in this bedroom. The Smart TV on the wall can be swiveled so that it can be seen from anywhere in the room.

This room offers a real retreat. In the alcove, there is a cot (140x70cm) for the little ones – also in the matching country house style.

Bathroom

The second bathroom of the house is on the upper floor. It is also completely new and has a very special flair thanks to the combination of nostalgic country house tiled floors and modern fittings. It has a bathtub, glass-enclosed shower, toilet, and a large sink. A large, illuminated wall mirror, towel radiator, storage space, and a hairdryer complete the equipment.
